It’s been another busy week in school with lots of new learning and the flu vaccines. We have been learning about Harvest in English and writing a class poem to perform at the Harvest assembly next week. In maths we have started learning about adding and subtracting two numbers and have begun by adding and subtracting one and the 10 and looking at what happens to a number when we do this. We have enjoyed another afternoon in Forest School and have one more week to go with this. We have also been learning about the Queen and her coronation and were amazed to find out that she had been Queen for nearly 70 years! In science we learned about the life cycle of a frog and in PE we have been practising log rolls and tuck rolls. We have also been reading ‘The Rainbow Fish’ story and will be learning some of the vocabulary from the story next week.
