What a lovely week we have had in Nursery! All of our new starters have arrived and settled in really well to our class, already demonstrating many of our school values including curiosity, teamwork and resilience!

This week we began our phonics learning and practiced using our listening ears to hear and identify sounds in our environment, we have imitated these sounds using our mouths and a variety of instruments. We also had a listening walk and heard different sounds outside to inside. You could do a listening walk this weekend to see what sounds there are in your house!

We have had a very creative week with many of our children choosing to create pieces of art. We used different tools to paint with including paintbrushes, cotton reels, tyres on our toys, sponges and even our hands! See if you can spot what tool was used on some of the paintings in our art gallery.
